Who is the portfolio scan for?
For organisations that want to know the potential of solar energy for their entire real estate portfolio or for real estate in a specific area.
For example:
- Councils that want to encourage companies to invest in solar energy for the implementation of their Net Zero Strategy
- Real estate managers or owners who are considering an approach across their entire portfolio
- Companies and organisations with multiple locations or branches that are considering generating their own energy
- Organisations that rent multiple properties from one or more property owners
We compiled a portfolio scan for several municipalities in the West of the Netherlands and for a
number of family businesses and real estate owners with branches throughout the Netherlands
What is a portfolio scan?
- Based on criteria provided by the client – for example postal code areas, specific addresses
or addresses with a certain roof size – we compile a report with the results of the approach
for the relevant locations - This report contains the total investment, the potential for energy generation and CO2
savings and the return to be achieved on these investments with the payback period. We
also zoom in on the most important locations - The report is accompanied by a list of all locations with details per building, including contact details of the organisations
- We present the report and overview of the locations to our client, supplemented with a
clear strategy or action plan
What does our client gain from it?
- The portfolio scan indicates the potential of an investment in solar energy at the level of an
entire area or organisation, with a concrete plan for implementation and an action list for
the (largest) locations - This allows an organisation at policy or management level to estimate and budget in
advance the impact of a policy choice, in the knowledge that this policy is also feasible - This makes it possible to organise an umbrella investment construction in solar energy for
all or part of the real estate portfolio - Supervising the realisation of this investment construction in technical, organisational, legal
and financial areas
